After adding a transition to a video clip, you can edit the transition to change its length, type, softness, and others.
Change the duration
The icon appears when your mouse is placed at the front or end of a transition in a transition. Hold down the left mouse button and drag the icon to change the duration of the transition.
Edit properties of a transition
Select a transition on a track, right click it and select "Edit" to open the editing panel of the transition.
The followings are the properties you can edit of a transition.
Duration: The duration of a transition, which is set in seconds. By default, a transition is 2 seconds long. You can change the number to adjust the duration of the transition.
Type: A list of built-in transitions, from which you can select other transition to replace the existing one.
Reverse: Reverse the direction of a transition effect. For example, the transition is to fade in/out from the left, after ticking Reverse, the transition will be fading in/out from the right.
Soft: The softness of the edge of a transition. You can set the value from 0 to 100%. The larger the number is, the softer the transition edge will be.
Sound: The transition effect on the audio of a video clip. There are 2 options: fade-in/fade-out and mixture.
