5 effects will be introduced below: Gaussian blur, Spot Remover, Stabilize, Sharpen, Vignette.
Gaussian Blur
Gaussian blur can blur a video by a Gaussian function to remove noise or detail.
After adding the effect, click "edit the effect" button to access the editing window of the effect, where you can control the degrees of Gaussian blur by dragging the slider to the left or right.
Spot Remover
The effect adds a rectangle or circle blur, which can be used to blur a specific spot in a video clip.
After adding the effect, click "edit the effect" button to access the editing window of the effect. You may change the degree of blurring, shape, height, width, position, rotation of the blur.
Stabilize
The effect can stabilize a shaky video. What it does is shaking a video at the same frequency as the camera shake so that the video will look stable to the viewers.
After the effect is adding, click "edit the effect" to access the effect editing panel. There are 4 properties of the effect you can edit.
- Shake: the range of video shake;
- Accuracy: the accuracy of the stabilizer;
- Zoom: zoom in or out the video;
- Smoothing: the smoothness of anti-shake motion.
After adjusting the properties, you have to click Analyze before the change can be previewed.
Tip: If you notice a shake on the edge of a video, you can use Crop effect to trim off the shaky part and keep only the stable part of the video.
Sharpen
The effect increases the color contrast around edges of the image, which can make a video more clear and more vivid in color.
After adding the effect, click "edit the effect" to access the effect editing panel. You can increase or decrease the sharpening level by adjusting the value of the amount and change the size of the sharpening area.
Click the reset button to go back to the default settings.
Vignette
Vignette effect is to add a black translucent frame around the video image, drawing attention to the center of the image.
After adding the effect, click "edit the effect" to access the effect editing panel. You can adjust the radius of the Vignette frame, the strength of feathering, transparency.
Click the reset button to go back to the default settings.
