Preferences Tips for Recording Videos/Audios

Here are a few tips for you to make recording with FonePaw Screen Recorder easier: 

 

1. Hotkeys

You can change the hotkeys as you want.

 

2. Recommended output preferences

 

Video codecs: H.264

Video quality: Windows: Hight; Mac: Middle

Frame rates: 24fps

Audio codecs: MP3 or AAC

Audio quality: Hight or highest

 

3. Preset (Windows version only)

 

You can preset and save the tutorial record, music record, live show settings. So that next time when you need to record the same types of video, you can choose from the preset list.

 

 

 

 

4. Lock screen & Remove screen (Windows version only)

 

These two functions can control which windows to record and which windows should be excluded. So, you can get exactly what you want in the recorded video.
