User Guide of WhatsApp Transfer for iOS: Transfer between iPhones and PC

Part 1: How to Transfer WhatsApp between iPhones

 

Tips: Before transferring, remember to turn off “Find My iPhone" and you'd better back up your WhatsApp data to avoid data loss due to accidental issues.

 

 

 

Step 1: Run WhatsApp Transfer for iOS on your PC and choose Device-to-device Transfer.

 

 

 

Step 2: Connect two devices to the PC with the USB cables. If the software is not able to recognize the device, click the link shown on the interface to get solutions. Besides, you also can exchange the source and target devices by clicking Switch.

 

 

 

Step 3: Hit Start Transfer button to conduct transferring iOS WhatsApp files. Don't disconnect the device during the process.

 

 

Finally, wait for a while and the iPhone-to-iPhone transfer is completed.

 

 

Part 2: How to Back up WhatsApp

 

Step 1: Choose Backup on the main page.

 

Step 2: Connect your device to the computer with USB cable. Then, choose the backup storage path by clicking the three-dot button.

It's optional to encrypt your backup by setting the password to protect your privacy.

 

 

 

Step 3: Click Start Backup. The WhatsApp data is saved on the PC.

 

 

Part 3: How to Restore WhatsApp to PC/device

 

Step 1: Select Restore on the homepage.

 

Step 2: Connect your device to the PC and choose the backup you want to restore.

 

 

 

Step 3: Tap Restore and the files will be recovered to the target device. Restart your iPhone and it will take effect.

 

Note: Make sure that Find My iPhone on your device is turned off when restoring.
